The company operates more than 1,000 stores globally, and ships to 81 countries worldwide through its websites. Since 1977, American Eagle has offered an assortment of specialty apparel and accessories for men and women that enables self-expression and empowers our customers to celebrate their individuality.
With the Covid-19 pandemic and the world under strict lockdown restrictions, American Eagle wanted to get closer to its customers and fans in Egypt.
The launch of their mobile app was welcome news for their fans, but in order to reach them they needed a network of influencers to help spread the word.
Switching focus to eCommerce was not easy, with low user conversion rates as there was a lack of awareness about the app. While they wanted to partner with relevant influencers and celebrity content creators, American Eagle also wanted to ensure that they followed their brand guidelines and adhered to the KPIs set by them.
Dmenta understood American Eagle’s pain points very well, and based on this began creating a customised a campaign strategy
This strategy included building a detailed plan with scheduled dates for the go-live of each campaign creative. They began identifying relevant celebrities whose target audience and interests matched those of the brand, and zeroed in on 13 influencers to promote their app.
Dmenta also ensured that the content creation process was organic but scripted certain elements of the campaign so that the focus remained on maximizing conversion rates.
A 5 day campaign with 13 influencers helped American Eagle Outfitters with a successful app launch in Egypt.
